It was discovered that the average student spends 4.7 hours and about $12.86 partying and drinking each week, it was also estimated that the average amount of alcoholic beverages consumed was 3.9 weekly.

This does not totally mean that every Canadian student engages in drinking or partying, however, only about one-third of students neither drink nor engage in partying.
